Portable single camera units
Acrobat has an extensive range of video cameras and can shoot on all broadcast video formats, including HD, Digital Betacam, Beta SP and DVC so crews can be equipped to suit your requirements and budget. All PSC units come with a comprehensive range of support equipment including a broad range of broadcast lenses and filters, tripods, sound recording equipment and lighting. We have a host of speciality items such as bullet cameras, ‘Chromaflex’ portable keying equipment, splash and underwater camera housings etc to facilitate those special shots.

Portable production unit
Acrobat’s PPU is a unique concept. It supports up to 8 Sony DVW790WSP camcorders with SDI outputs for best possible quality. Because these are camcorders there is no need for ISO recorders in ‘as live’ situations. TX recording can be direct to hard drive or to any tape format. An uncompressed non-linear edit system with full effects and captioning is included. The whole set-up is flight cased, compact, easily transported, quickly assembled and requires a minimum of space to operate. It is ideal for location drama, sports coverage (especially those taking place in awkward locations such as skiing) and conferences and presentations. It provides all the capabilities of a medium sized OB truck with greater flexibility and at a significantly lower cost.
