Peter Hart

Peter Hart is ‘officially’ the second best known windsurfer on the planet -second only to Robbie Naish. As well as being a professional windsurfer and qualified ski instructor, he is a talented sports journalist, TV presenter, writer and is the mastermind behind many of the Acrobat ‘how-to’ sports videos. He also runs a series of training camps in the Worlds windsurfing hotspots and it is well worth checking out his site.

Tushingham Sails

Roger Tushingham has been a supporter of Acrobat’s training programmes for almost 20 years. He has generously provided financial help and equipment that have allowed the programmes to achieve the undoubted success they have attained. His windsurf sails are well regarded and a recent Acrobat production for the company tells users just how to get the best out of their Tushingham sails.

Neilson Active Holidays

If ever there was a perfect fit between two companies then the relationship between Acrobat and Neilson is it. Acrobats programme specialities in the fields of skiing and snowboarding, yachting, dinghy sailing and windsurfing exactly mirror the Neilson holiday offering. Neilson locations have been the stunning backdrops to most of the Acrobat sell-thru programmes and we can only recommend anyone with a modicum of fire in their belly to give their holidays a try.

Fat Face

Camera crews are not renowned for their sartorial elegance, but ‘Face Face’ has done their best to remedy that. More appropriate to the many featured celebrities and sports stars in front of the camera that they have outfitted, they have nevertheless done their best with the ragbag that operates behind the scenes. That Acrobat staff has any cool, casual clothes at all is probably entirely down to Fat Face.

Riemann P20

If you are on holiday and the temperature is overwhelming and the sun remorseless then you have the option of retiring to the shade of the nearest bar and reducing your body temperature with a cold lager. However, if you work in those same environments then that opportunity is rarely available to you. Preventing both cast and crew from turning the colour of beetroots is a serious issue and based on 20 years of experience the best solution is P20.

WhiteBoarders

Dave White is the current production board, World, speed record holder and is, in every respect, one of the sports largest characters. His commitment to windsurfing goes far beyond commercial aspects and he has both supported and appeared in Acrobat programmes. The WhiteBoarder’s team too have made a valuable and much appreciated contribution to our programmes so thanks to Nik and Ant Baker, Karin Jaggi, Pete Volwater, Brian Talma and the many others that Dave has encouraged to join in.

Amateur Rowing Association

Over recent years British rowing has been at an all time high evidenced by the haul of gold medals and the notoriety of the sport’s stars such as Sir Steven Redgrave, Matthew Pinsent, James Cracknell, Tim Foster and their ilk. The success of these athletes is in no short measure due to the motivation and Worldclass training they received from the grass roots level of the sport. It all starts with the Amateur Rowing Association.
